2. Are the insurance plans available at HKTVmall underwritten by authorised insurance companies?
The insurance plans available at HKTVmall are underwritten by insurance companies that are authorized and regulated by the Insurance Authority.
3. Do I have to provide the information for the insurance application before I check out?
You can purchase the insurance order first. The insurance application details can be provided within 30 days after successful payment of general insurance orders. For medical insurance, insurance application details can be provided within 14 days after successful payment.
4. What will happen if I forget to fill in the insurance application details within the prescribed time?
If the insurance application details are not filled in before the prescribed time, the insurance policy will not be issued.
5. Where can I fill in the insurance application details?
The Insurance Order will be sent to your account after successful payment. In “Account Profile” > “Insurance Order” > “Incomplete Insurance Order”, you can fill in Insurance Order by clicking “Fill in Insurance Application Details”.
6. What are insurance application details?
Insurance application details include the policy effective date, policy applicant’s information (name, date of birth, HKID, mobile number, email address and correspondence address) and insured person’s information (name, date of birth and HKID).
7. How do I know if I have submitted the Insurance Application successfully?
In “Account Profile” > “Insurance Order” > “Completed Insurance Order”, you can find the insurance policy number provided by the insurance company after successful submission.
8. Is there any age limit for the policy applicant and the insured person?
The age restriction imposed on each insurance plan is different, please read all the relevant information carefully before purchasing the insurance order.
9. When will I start to be covered? What is the coverage of the insurance plan? If I have any enquiries, should I contact the insurance company or HKTVmall?
